Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

Changed on 2 October 2026: this policy now names the analytics and advertising tags the site uses — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag — and the site now asks for your consent before loading any of them. See Cookies and analytics.
Who we are
LYMDATA LABS Private Limited (“we”, “us”) operates this website. If you have a question about anything in this policy, write to info@lymdata.com and a person will answer.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. That means the contents of the contact form: your name, email address, and — if you fill them in — your company, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget range, a timeline, and the message you write.
If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence in the same way any business holds its email.
When you send a form, we also receive how you found the site: the website that referred you (its domain only, never the full address), the first page you landed on, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and the page you sent the form from. We use this to learn which channels bring enquiries — it is never used to identify you beyond the details you typed into the form.
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we and the providers named under Cookies and analytics also receive information about how you use the site. If you do not, they receive nothing.
What we do not collect
- We do not load analytics or advertising tags, or set their cookies, unless you accept them.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.
- We do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to prepare for a conversation about your project, and to maintain the commercial record of an engagement if one begins. That is the whole list. We do not add contact-form submissions to a marketing list without asking you first.
Where it goes
Enquiries reach our email and the systems we use to run the business — hosting, email and, where relevant, a project management tool. Those providers process the data on our instructions and are bound by their own contractual obligations. We do not transfer your information to anyone else without your consent, unless we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twenty-four months. Records relating to an active or completed engagement are retained for as long as the contract and applicable accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@lymdata.com and we will respond within thirty days. If we cannot act on a request — because we are legally obliged to retain something, for example — we will tell you why.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise; if a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority without delay.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not require cookies to function. On your first visit a banner asks whether we may load analytics and advertising tags. None of them load until you choose Accept; if you choose Decline, or leave the banner unanswered, they never do.
If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads four services:
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used — which pages are visited and which ones lead to an enquiry.
- Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling and replays of visits, so we can find where the site is hard to use.
- The Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag tell Meta and LinkedIn that you visited, which lets us measure our advertising on those platforms and show adverts to people who have been to this site. Both set advertising cookies.
These providers receive that information directly from your browser and handle it under their own privacy policies. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage for six months, after which the banner asks again. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page; withdrawing consent stops the tags loading and removes the cookies they set for this site.
So that an enquiry can be credited to the channel that produced it, the site keeps a small record in your browser's local storage of how you first arrived (the referring domain, landing page and campaign tags). It stays on your device for up to ninety days and is only sent to us if you submit a form. Clearing your browser's site data removes it, and blocking storage or analytics in your browser does not stop any part of the site working.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page for at least thirty days.
